Wizard builders and spreadsheets are easy to tell apart. A wizard paints each step as a block. The spreadsheet is a grid of cells, overlays, and arrows. Complex applications usually live in the spreadsheet because they outgrow a fixed block structure. A spreadsheet job will not open back in the wizard. A wizard job can often be opened in the spreadsheet, which is useful when a supplier export needs to be read. The wizard’s order is still wisdom: image, fixture, tools, math, I/O, HMI. Set the startup default so the emulator opens in the spreadsheet. When you connect to a camera, the emulator follows the camera model. Recognize which environment a job belongs to before editing it. Rewriting a block job into cells without mapping its fixture and outputs is how a simple presence check becomes an untested program.
